Tarinani – My story

Kuvan tekeminen on minulle sisäsyntyistä. Pääasiallisesti teen akryyli- ja öljytöitä sekatekniikalla. Teokset syntyvät yleensä intuition kautta, vaikka lähtökohta voi olla hyvinkin realistinen. Kuuntelen ja tunnustelen sisintäni milloin taulun on aika syntyä. Olen enemmänkin väline tai kanava taiteelle, jonka pitää syntyä tähän maailmaan. Jokaiseen teokseen tulee siihen tarvittava oma erityinen energiansa. Toivon teoksen energian välittyvän parantavana/ herättelevänä sen kokijalle. 

Tällä hetkellä suosikki tekniikkani on yhdistellä akryylia ja öljypastilleja. Akvarellit ovat palanneet pitkän ajan jälkeen maailmaani ja paperi on lumonnut minut ominaisuuksillaan. Grafiikassa puupiirros on uusin valtaukseni.

Creating images is something innate to me. I mainly work with acrylics and oils using mixed techniques. My works usually emerge through intuition, even if the starting point can be very realistic. I listen and sense within myself to know when it’s time for a painting to be born. I see myself more as a vessel or channel for the art that needs to come into this world. Each piece carries its own unique energy that belongs to it. I hope that the energy of the work is felt by the viewer as healing or awakening.

At the moment, my favorite technique is combining acrylics with oil pastels. Watercolors have returned to my world after a long time, and I’m enchanted by the qualities of paper. In printmaking, woodcut is my most recent exploration.
